"Ivan Ivanov, 9 years old, competed in an International pop-rock singing competition at Dobritch, Bulgaria on 05-12-2011. I couldn't confirm but according to comments on YouTube, Ivan won the competition.
Adam acknowledged Ivan's insane vocal and performance skills on Twitter by tweeting, "Yeah Ivan!!! You rock buddy!!"
I played the videos of Adam and Ivan singing "Sleepwalker" side by side and was amazed at how close the lyrics are in sync with each other. Adam throws in more rifts at the end of the song, so that was the main difference, but they ended up singing the end note together."
I was searching youtube for recent Adam's videos and found this WWFM cover
It's a Greek duet. Searching their youtube channel I saw at the pianist's facebook page that he is an Adam fan. I also saw one of the comments saying that the singer was at the Greek X factor and then I remembered him.
Anyway I'm posting for two reasons. They have uploaded only 3 covers and WWFM is one of them. The other two are Rolling in the deep and the edge of glory. These videos are showing one more time how difficult it is to cover Adam's songs. ( Same thing with rolling in the deep.)

Just wanted to drop by and give you a quick mini-overview over what was said in German without doing a translation, it is not worth it. The guy explained beforehand that he is basically homeless, tries to sing wherever he can find a gig, and his goal is to become the best artist he can be (heavy applause). He then announces that he sings WWFM and both audience and judges are clearly familiar with the song (heLLOoo Mr Levine). One judge stresses specifically that he is looking forward to hearing that.
The guy sings and the critique is kind of strange. Very little about the singing (which is generally perceived as 'alright' to 'ok') most of the discussion centers around his presentation style and his introduction which is perceived as fake and non-believable. The musical theater question is brought up. Generally, he is perceived as weird, but an ok singer and let through to the next round.
None of the judges talked about his singing (neither his running away from the beat nor his clear inability to understand where the break in the voice is and that it might not be ideal to have a song where he constantly has to jump up to right where he cannot perform). The one comment that kind of came close to saying the latter came again from that same judge who said he was looking forward to the song and he basically said afterwards that it would be important to find suitable material for him.
I would concur with that one. The guy is clearly inspired by Adam in many ways and so he tries to sing his song, but he does not understand that his voice is different and either he needs to transpose the song or find a song that sits more in his own vocal range. It is very clear that he sounds good in the beginning, but then cannot handle the higher notes and then it goes downhill from there.

Q3: They are working on the Member Search function -- if you are looking for someone use the page numbers to move thru to the person you want. That is working, database look-up is not working.
