I've never watched Kelly's show....but see comments on Twitter about her singing lots of covers...and well. Wish Adam had his own TV show. He's fantastic singing covers. Maybe his schedule prevents him from having a TV show or the suits aren't interested....but we know he could shine both singing and talking.

I have my doubts that Kelly would have ever been given a tv show if she were not on The Voice on NBC. They don't just give them out to anyone. And I can't see Adam's team even making a pitch for one at the point in his career. The one she was on years ago bombed. Her husband is her manager and Blake's and he seemed to have positioned her to get anything NBC is offering once he got her on TV. She has hosted the Billboard Awards on NBC twice. Is it because her music has been connecting and is big right now? No. Funny that she and Jhud were given The Voice gigs at first but Jhud was pushed out for Legend who NBC is behind as well. Once he did JCSS on NBC, then said he would like to be on TV, Jhud was history. I'm sorry but that is one dull man, lol. Now they have had the Jonas Bros. on NBC's Songland and what do you know, Nick Jonas will be the next coach on TV and replacing Gwen/Adam Levine. NBC seems to really look out for TV talent. And Kelly's husband/manager looks out for her. And that is what he should do. She now will have a residency in Vegas. |
