All these Idol performance annoucement articles.. do they have to start with ADAM LAMBERT first?? ;D ;D lol, I was thinking about that too. They all start with Adam just about, and all use his picture, lol.

You know, if somehow they managed to find Freddie's DNA and clone him, the Hard Core Queen fans would still find fault. Hell, I suspect if Freddie were still around he wouldn't be Freddie enough for them...it's impossible to be compete with a fantasy of perfection. Adam will kick ass, yet there will still be those who believe Freddie's memory has been besmirched by the mere fact that Queen is performing at all instead of them sitting 30 years of shiva. Can't win 'em all. Soooo True! Just like for Elvis fans, Freddie will never die, just live on in the mindhive as they were last seen. No offense to Elvis or Freddie fans - I love them both :-) Hey, I know how hostile I got when a few clearly deaf and blind pundits had the gall to suggest that James Durbin was the new...was...I can barely type this...ADAM. I became unglued, to put it mildly. Nothing against the kid, but PUHLEEZE... So I get where the Queen fans are coming from, I really do.

One of these men can barely sing their way out of a paper bag. Adam at least is an exceptional singer even if he isn't someone's cuppa. That fine.

re: Umix it
I find it very interesting that I just clicked away "Blink 182" and it just played with less than 10 taps from me. I can't imagine that many others were voting for this song.
She's making us work tonight. Notice how BTIKM has not re-entered into the playlist? usually re-enters at the bottom unless we tap away an hour later. Something shady tonight 8-)

Well. Well. Well, fucking well!
I know Adam will be iconic. Why do I know?? Why have I always known???
Because, this man can turn a 61-year-old woman, who, mind you, has raised five boys (so, junk does not necessarily impress); has a fantastic, married-43-year's husband (yes, we were teenagers and for god's sake it was the summer of love and we were like rabbits!); who is involved daily in a career that reminds us of the precious value of living; who doesn't buy much clothes anymore, has never had a massage, paints her own toenails, feeds the dog and mows the lawn and wipes sticky, chubby fingers . . . . . . who has just changed the vacation plans for London and now has added Moscow!!!!!!!!!
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME???? I DIDN'T VENTURE BEYOND THE USA TILL 2002 - - AND I'M GOING TO MOSCOW?????????!!!!!!!!!!!
So sorry!!! A little flailing here!!! Truly, I cannot explain this. On June 27 we will embark on a trip of a lifetime; which now will include both Moscow and London! I have to do this. I am compelled. I'm afraid my sons are watching their inheritance fly away on golden wings! The best part is that they're applauding me for it. With wrinkled brows, but still glad for the joy they see; even if they're not sure. Actually, one son (Penelope's father!) hugged me in the kitchen and said "It would be easier if 'your other son' wasn't our age!" He has a point there. As a middle child, I remember the sensitivity I felt in between my older sister and younger brother. Sometimes I felt lost. So, it is up to me to live life to the full measure I can; feel the music again and the ecstasy of it! Also knowing, and paying attention to the family that gave me more than song; that reveal to me the symphony of life.
I am so fucking happy right now I can hardly stand it!!! I think I need a bath.

No Trespassing my ass is right! Adam seems to be trespassing all over the place now. The haters and naysayers can say what they want, but I think he is well liked and has the respect of a lot of people in the music industry. How can they not luv luv luv him!!

so it's only a little more than an hour until this leap day challenge starts and it looks like there needs to be people to do the tallying, and or a plan for when the matchers donate (when prompted by the tally-er?) after the day is over?
I can't be around during the day much tomorrow, but if anyone can.... or if Q3 is around, maybe check in on the Leap Day Challenge thread.
