I can't get enough of Cuckoo.. playing it every ten minutes on YOUTUBE. Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes . It's a beautiful day here in Asheville & DH and I are going to the Biltmore Estate. This after a delicious Brunch with our family. Have great fun! Happy birthday! Perfect day for Biltmore. One of my family's most memorable vacations. Uh, Adam and Sauli haven't seen each other for what? Two weeks? I imagine they have other monumental things on their minds. ;D. But I do hope they get to explore outside, too. I'm jealous of those club kids who got to hear the music. But how great for Adam to hear them in a club setting!!!

The Big Apple · www.DJTommyDiz.comDJ Tommy Diz @djtommydiz Reply Retweet Favorite · Open @djguzie Yup I'm good. Was focusing on original stuff, now back on the remix grind. We just did the new Usher & Adam Lambert. How's things?Hey guys , is it me alone , or did this guy refer to the song he just did to be Adam's AND Usher's , like , in a duet ?????? I'm just guessing , though . and btw , Adam looked like a smurf with that hat in the "colbalt" pics . LOOOOL !!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I believe he just did two remixes -- one for Adam and one for Usher.

That is a badge of honor!! Congrats! ;D Badge of honor? Really? But IMHO it is not cheating. Or? It is not cheating. Making Chris Brown fans notice Adam Lambert -- that is a badge of honor.

Has anyone who was at the club commented on the music? I have seen some comments like "the club loved the music", etc., but most of those came from fans.

Has anyone who was at the club commented on the music? ETA: I think some Adam fans are unfair about Toby sometimes but he really annoys me when he speaks for Adam fans. Most Adam fans just laughed at the moron who didn't know Sauli was there and called him clueless. But releasing the name of the Hotel -- not cool, not cool at all, lol, now we have an apology... @cwnewser @adamlambert Adam, sorry that one of my headlines misidentified a patron @cobaltdc as your bf last night. #Glamberts, no offense intended.

BRAVO NoAngel! I totally agree with your OP today. Yes as you said, "Adam may wear the occasional sweater-vest or cardigan nowadays, but don't be fooled. He's got the chess board out, he's studied the game, and he's out to win."
And at the end of the day, win he will. I personally like all facets of Adam, dark and light.

LOL. But what a tool this guy is, really. Not cool to give out the hotel name On another note, can we assume that since the club was pretty openly tweeting out about Adam's appearance there (and hinting that he'd be back today), that this was one of those paid appearances for Adam where the club forks over a bunch of money to have him there? I hope so And I love that Adam played a couple of his songs to an impartial club crowd. It's good to gauge reaction from non-stans and see what gets the best response. I'm dying to hear the finished tracks, but between Trespassing and Cuckoo, I do like Cuckoo much better.

And PS - I had the hotel figured out yesterday from the first pics that were posted when he arrived. Didn't post it up or tweet in respect of his privacy, but figured it would come out eventually. He is right across the street from the International Spy Museum and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. And about 4 blocks from the National Mall, National Gallery of Art and the National Museum of Natural History, etc etc. I hope they go see all of it on this glorious day!! A jogging sighting on the Mall would be so cool!! You have more restraint than I do. I think if I knew what hotel Adam was staying in and he as in my town I would have to use all of my will power to stay away and I might lose the battle even though it's really tacky to stalk Adam at his hotel.....

NoAngel, your strategic Adam essay reminded me of something Bill Moyers said about his interviewing strategy. " You know the difference between a hoot owl and a screech-owl. The hoot owl crashes into a hen-house, knocks the hen off the perch, catches it. The screech-owl comes in quietly, gently, snuggles up to the hen, starts talking gently to the hen. Next thing you know, there ain’t no hen. I prefer that…” Ha! I love that quote! Rihannsu, I agree with your post earlier that Adam tended to be more dressed-down when doing radio promo during the FYE era also. Although he certainly didn't do as much of it as he is doing now. And I think you're right that DJs seemed surprised that he was not all-glam-all-the-time. The last era Adam emphasized the "entertainer" aspect. And I don't think he quite totally realized how uncomfortable that made some people feel. Pop gals like Gaga have way more leeway and it's expected that they're going to be all OTT and sexed-up. Not the case for pop males, and definitely uncharted waters for an out gay pop male. This era he's emphasizing the relatability of his work. One of his main speaking points is about how he's singing about shared human experiences. I love that he's saying that without de-emphasizing that they are also his unique personal experiences. It's really hard to get people to see from another person's perspective when that person is perceived as being very different from them.

NoAngelLove what you said about Adam and this was how I exactly felt about him before but not anymore. Too much concerning about the promo roll out just stress yourself out of nowhere and take away the pleasure of enjoying his music. Those performances in Jezebel did not even justify him at all, imagine what he'll do on the tour(thinking the 2nd tour DVD already). I love those GNT tours he did in Europe. He has sparkly blood in his whole body. And he's right, listening too much dancey sexy stuff, I usually need some ballads to balance a bit. Now I can have it all from him. I am glad I choose to stan him instead of Gaga! Well, I also found it's very entertaining how he confuse people who he's with last night. I am glad he has a good time with the boy(s) ;D.... ETA: Also looking forward for the Queen gigs as well. Yay!!!! So much goodies in the coming year!!!!!
