Thanks Gelly and myspencer knew right away!!! I must've woke up early on Monday and saw the pics and then we got the snippets a few hours later, so all memory was wiped clean. Slightly OT, but not totally ... Chris Brown's album drop date has been pushed back. He was supposed to drop on May 8, between Carrie and Adam, but now it won't be until July 3, so RCA won't have any other major releases the week of or before Adam's, paving the way for a wide berth of album promo. I read that the GLEE GRADUATION album is being released the same day as Adam. Those albums sell tons don't they? - and this one will probably get a lot of hype. No? I dunno....are they under RCA?

What a great Sunday Page one! To both Q3 and NoAngel: And Q3 - I love your photo of the exotic Wilkes Barre skyline. Here's a pic of a section of the historic art deco Kirby Center:

No, they are Columbia. But it will sell a ton, especially since it is the graduation album and several of the major stars are leaving the show. :-/

A TV show cast selling covers ... but at least he'll have every opportunity to promote with little label competition. And I think it rather ironic that some of the prejudice he gets is because he was "discovered" singing covers and now he's singing fantastic original material that he wrote and produced but may place behind a collection of characters singing covers. We'll see how it all plays out ...

I don't think their numbers, even if stellar, will reflect negatively on Adam.

Also their last tour did n't sell so well. I think I read that somewhere. Anyway, I'm talking selling long term, which I know Trespassing will.

LOL, NEGL, I'd be very happy if the allure finally and abruptly wore off. Even the "Glee" fans in my feed primarily mock it. I know a few who really like Darren Criss, but that's about it. I stopped watching it two years ago. And ITA, they remind me of those WOW compilation albums. LOL.

Don't be surprised if this Glee Graduation CD goes #1 for the week. It is an easy in, easy out type of profit. The singles and albums do really well for a short period of time, but that's okay because that is what they are designed to do. The Glee summer tour sold out in seconds at every arena they performed at. I know, because my DD and all of her friends wanted to go. The prices on stubhub were ridiculous, so we skipped it. I wish we hadn't now because they aren't having a tour this summer and so many of the favorites are graduating.

Q3 and NoAngel! Great essays this morning! Does anyone have the dance songs as their very favorites? With so much love for Underneath and Broken English, I've kind of been afraid to say they are not at the top of my list! Sorry! I have Shady, Kickin In, and Pop That Lock on constant repeat. It takes me a long time to get to the dark side of the album. :-/ Even though I seem to mostly prefer the dark side of the album (especially Broken English, Chokehold, and Underneath), my VERY favorite snippet is SHADY. It's totally at the top of my list!

Let me see --- Album recorded. check. Pre-album release massive radio road show. check. Products packaged and distribution started. check. Single #2 selected. check. Put promo tour band together. check. Get great music director on board. check. Add back-up singers. check. So what could be left? My guess is that Adam is working on the fashion!! I am trying to come up with a non-Melvin response to what he is doing. How about starting to film the music video for NCOE! That's true - he's still got an MV to conceptualize (is that a word?). Or, if he's already decided on a concept (and he probably did), he's probably thinking and rethinking all the little details (yeah, including the fashion ). And he's got the AI performance to stage - that's no little matter. That's how he's gonna present himself to dozens of millions of viewers (yeah, including the fashion ). I'd like him to have dancers on AI!! I'd say he isn't short of work these days.
