LOL, Q3, "now I have learned that I can mix in purple and gray." Great list. NoAngel, I really enjoyed your thoughts on "Broken English" and how the song reveals so much about Adam as a person, even beyond his love relationship, and speaks to his whole outlook and the way he interacts with the world. "Broken English" really snuck up on me. By the end of the second day of listening to snippets I was completely enthralled by it. There's just one gem after another on this album. Just imagine if we'd only had 30-second clips. It would have been such a disservice to the songs. I'm living my life in 21 minute segments, and I bet I'm not alone! Ha ha, so true!

Q3 and NoAngel! Great essays this morning! Does anyone have the dance songs as their very favorites? With so much love for Underneath and Broken English, I've kind of been afraid to say they are not at the top of my list! Sorry! I have Shady, Kickin In, and Pop That Lock on constant repeat. It takes me a long time to get to the dark side of the album. :-/ Even though I seem to mostly prefer the dark side of the album (especially Broken English, Chokehold, and Underneath), my VERY favorite snippet is SHADY. It's totally at the top of my list! No worries... I'll love the light side for you. Like vote canceling in a general election.

What is the average viewship of Kimmel? Googled With its late-night lineup of “Nightline” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” during the week of April 2, 2012, ABC delivered its 2nd straight week of gains in Adults 18-49 (+1% - 778,000 vs. 774,000). ABC also grew over the year-ago week (week of 4/4/11) by 4% in Total Viewers (2.398 million vs. 2.314 million) to stand as the only broadcaster in late-night to build its overall audience (CBS was down -1%; NBC was down -1%). tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/04/12/abc-is-late-nights-most-watched-network-for-the-2nd-straight-week/128822/

Of course, it's Adam's fault I'm so bored:) These days there's been a lot of discussion about favourites: fav AI/GNT performance/snippet/sexy photo of Adam..., which is definitely the best way to kill time before Adam entertains us with something new. But just a few minutes ago I had an epiphany- the last nail to my 'Glambert for Life' coffin was not his performances, but his interviews.I remember watching them religiously on Youtube, admiring everything, from his looks, to the way he handled the questions, especially the unpleasant ones, and his wit. He's so quick witted, mentally nimble and resourceful. He leaves the impression of a very experienced conversationalist. Even when he's taken by surprise, he always lands on his feet. Early interviews I really love: Justin Lee Collins! Omg, that is the most hilarious interview Adam's ever done! I've seen it like a gazillion times. Also, Jessi Cruikshank, Michelle Collins, MyBliss - phenomenal! All interviews from Australia and New Zealand are great, especially the Video Hits one. Adam's witty repartees are something to remember, but my favourite comes from an interview where the reporter ( it was a gay station) asked him something like: Now that you're famous, it must be difficult to hit on guys, you can't really make out in parks and back alleys.... And my darling, darling Adam replied: HOMO DON'T PLAY, HOMO DON'T PLAY! In a sense that that's not something he would do anyway, famous or not. From then on, whenever I'm required to do something I just won't, I say: homo don't play, and accompany it with the appropriate finger action. ::)

I was living the 21 mins... but yesterday I downloaded all the snipps (san BTIKM and NCOE) and created a playlist. It goes like this: Shady..another song..Shady..another song..Shady... until it gets to the end of the snippets... this way I get my FIIIIIX every 2 mins! I am in heaven! Re 1st week competition: IMO there is no way to top GLEE...its like SuBo- mass consumption... All I want is to have a decent showing - more that 100K...hope for massive promo: morning and evening Network's TV shows, we have AI, DWTS would be great, especially given that NCOE is a dance song, many mention SNL (I haven't watched it since Belushi/Radner time)... and of course radio!

Thank you, Q3 and NoAngel, for your insight. I truly believe that stanning Adam has made me a better person, and I think a lot of others feel he has effected them the same way. I see the world in a new and different way. I wonder if Adam realizes that he has, in his own way, changed the world. Can't think of anything to add except

I believe that Adam will outsell GLEE Graduation. GLEE still sells but it has lost a lot of its power because there are soooooooo may GLEE albums and tracks. At some point, people move on. In any case on Amazon Trespassing is at #79; Glee Graduation is at #188. (I do not believe Glee Graduation is release for iTunes Presale yet) Trespassing is #121 in all albums on iTunes, #26 in Pop Albums (US) NCOE is staying in the Top 200 at #121 with NO REAL RADIO OR PROMO SUPPORT. This is a great sign. Now with some promo we'll see what this tune can do!

Glee's three CDs from the end of the 2011 season that were released in the late spring of 2011, sold from 80-90K the first week. This May will be the series end in some respects, that's why I am thinking the Graduation album might sell better than the ones from the end of the season in 2011. The CDs from the end of the season when the club competes(and when they pull out all the best songs, emotional songs, etc.) are usually the best sellers. You never know how these things will go, though. It depends on if the songs are good and how emotional the end is. Emotional=Impulse purchases

It takes me a long time to get to the dark side of the album. :-/ myspencer, I am totally and completely on the dance song train. Shady, Kickin In, Pop That Lock, Trespassing, NCOE are my favorites followed closely by Chokehold (sexy slow) and Broken English. I guess somebody had to have Underneath lower on their list and I guess that somebody is me but I am generally not a slow angsty song kind of person. Q3 - I loved your Nine Reasons this morning. My eldest son is the one in my family right now who is the most thankful. I have been saying for years that I was going to take them to Europe and have had hypothetical plans of all kinds but never actually hit the button on the expense. He has wanted to go out of the US so badly but really did not think it would ever actually happen. I had a ticket to Knebworth but the whole idea of the huge crowd and off center location, plus already expecting huge crowds at Burning Man just made it ultimately a non-starter. Then the cancellation of Sonisphere and the booking of Hammersmith ignited the flame and I thought ... This is the time to take them to London! Yesterday I had my son on the phone for moral support as I booked the airline tickets and lodging. First we looked at the various room types and other items then I said, "Are you ready ... I just hit the Book Button." He was so excited; we both were and it was a wonderful moment. Thank you Adam Lambert from me and my son.

Interesting piece pertinent to Adam's new music..... "DJs battle with dance music dominance in U.S. pop music 11:10am EDT By Piya Sinha-Roy LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The explosion of electronic dance music in the U.S. has thrust DJs into the spotlight, but with great power comes great responsibility as they strive to stay fresh and maintain quality as demand for their skills rise. Electronic dance music has become a dominant force in the 2012 popular music charts, as mainstream artists such as R&B singers Rihanna and Usher, hip hop singer Nicki Minaj, and the 'Queen of Pop' Madonna have embraced club-heavy beats, often working with top DJs such as David Guetta. This year's Grammy awards ceremony featured the first tribute to dance music with performances from DJs Guetta and Deadmau5, rappers Chris Brown and Lil Wayne, and rockers The Foo Fighters, highlighting the fusion of genres in the music charts. "I've worked hard for it to happen and I'm very happy...I think I was one of the first to create a bridge between electronic and urban music and create a new standard of pop music," Guetta said to Reuters. "But at the same time so many people are doing it now that I'm also trying to do something different." The French DJ has seen his own status in the U.S. skyrocket. His latest two-disc album, "Nothing But The Beat," featuring collaborations with some of pop's biggest names on one disc, and solely instrumental tracks on the other, peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart in late 2011, his highest entry in the U.S. Guetta has been at the forefront of an expanding dance music scene, that started out of Europe's house music and trance clubs in the mid-1990s and was promoted further by holiday locations such as the Spanish island Ibiza and Greek island Ayia Napa that became known as 'party capitals' for the dance music scene. But its arrival into the mainstream music scene has lead to some dissent in the once-niche community, as underground DJs become big names in pop music. Guetta disagrees that its new-found popularity is a threat. "I think dance music needs some heroes and it also needs underground, and it's because there's so many different scenes inside our scene that it's so powerful...We just want to make and play good music," he said. Swedish DJ Sebastian Ingrosso, who has seen his own status rise as part of the Swedish House Mafia trio, called the spotlight on electronic dance music "scary," saying he feared it could compromise the quality of music produced. "I see dance music like when the electric guitar came, and some would play good, and some would play bad. But it's here to stay, the quality has to come too," said Ingrosso. Some attempts by artists to embrace the dance music genre have backfired. Minaj's latest dance-pop album, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded," was slammed by critics. Despite the critics, Minaj's latest single "Starships" is flying high on the Billboard Hot 100, while "American Idol" alum Kelly Clarkson, known for her pop-driven anthems, incorporated dance-heavy beats into her latest single "Stronger," which peaked at No. 1 on the chart. DANCE MUSIC JOURNEYS TO THE U.S. While dance, house and dubstep music thrived in Europe in the early 2000s, America's music scene was dominated by garage rock bands such as Green Day and Blink 182. It is only in very recent years that DJs are finally getting their moment in American popular music. "They're the new rock stars...DJs and dance culture has always been there, and it's always been pretty massive globally. America's been the last to catch on," said singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder, who has written, co-written and produced traditional pop hits such as Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" and Beyonce's "Halo." Tedder has long championed the dance music phenomenon, previously working with British trance DJ Paul Oakenfold in 2006 for two songs. He currently has a single with Ingrosso and Sweden's Alesso, "Calling (Lose My Mind)," which the pair performed for crowds at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California over two weekends this month. Guetta, Ingrosso and newcomer dubstep DJ Datsik all credit Coachella for being an important platform in the evolution of dance music in America, using the festival's trendy crowd as a testing ground for new music. Canadian artist Datsik, 23, a rising star in dubstep sub-genre of electronic dance music, made his Coachella debut this year playing a coveted Friday night slot in the Sahara dance tent. He credited the explosion in the dance music scene for giving him a chance to appeal to a larger audience. "The right artists are finally getting the credit they deserve, DJs are finally starting to become noticed...and it's only making the scene for DJs bigger, drawing people to the industry and producing bigger, better, louder shows," he said. Thanks for looking that up, Kanadie. Good to know they are not necessarily the behemoth of past years. And LOL, you're right about Adele. Seriously, who is left in this world that does not have the album that has any desire to own it??

I can listen to Adam talk all day!
