Yay for #1 on iTunes!!!!!
As a point of comparison ( and because I am still calculating opening week numbers in my head), how high did Cook's album go on the iTunes chart?

Yes, you do! Mother's day is big for artists that appeal to women, such as Carrie or Adele. The week of Valentines Day, sales were way up for CDs and then they dropped significantly the next week. I expect that Carrie will have a drop off this week (May 15th) and Adele will drop down also. Keep in mind, Adele's lowest week was around 73K. Also, the Glee CD is #2 on iTunes right now. It will sell downloads and physical copies. I'm thinking that Adam has to sell 80K at least to have a shot at #1 over Glee, Carrie and Adele. One question though. There is one version of the Glee, Adele, and Carrie's album charting on itunes, there are two versions of Adam's album, each charting separately but above top 50. Both of these versions will have their sales lumped together for Billboard right? But can we assume that if there was only one version Trespassing would be charting a little higher on itunes? But it makes sense to try to keep driving sales towards the deluxe version in part because keeping at least one version in the top 20 for visibility is good. Rabbit: I guess this is a useless comment (on my part) now, since the album is #1, but I wanted to respond and say I agree that it helps if there are two albums adding to the overall numbers! Everyone, don't freak out if Glee goes to number 1 tonight. It is the season finale and in some ways the series finale. Like all things Glee, it will be short lived. This is the time we need to keep in mind that, like Rabbit referred to, Adam has two albums charting high on iTunes! NUMBER 1!!!! Adam so deserves this!!!!!!!!!

I actually FORGOT that today was CHR adds day! Thank gawd for iTunes #1 cause that will overshadow my disdain for Top40 radio. They better hop on the crazy train soon though.

With 37% in, only 30 artist have *any* Top 40 Adds with Usher at the top of the chart with a grand total of 7 adds (one of which is Wilkes-Barre which Adam already has).

Yay for #1 on iTunes!!!!! As a point of comparison ( and because I am still calculating opening week numbers in my head), how high did Cook's album go on the iTunes chart? TLM went to #4 (Deluxe) and #42 (Standard) for about one hour the day it was released, which was June 27th, 2011. By Wednesday morning, it was at #6 and #41. Then, on Thursday, it jumped to #5 and #38. By Friday night, it had fallen to #11 and #68. On Sunday, TLM was #16 and #79. Tuesday night it fell out of the top 20 and dropped quickly. By Wednesday, July 6th, it was at #45 and #223.

BTW, as far as that +1 on the HAC chart. I have never seen HAC as stagnant as it has been for the past couple of weeks.

Thanks tigerlily!
I would also be curious to know how Daughtry did, as well, although he came out at a really hot time album-wise.
