From the first images of a colorless world to the prisoners popping little blue and white pills, Adam is sending a pretty strong message about individuality and keeping an open mind. “I interpret that as we’re keeping our eyes wide open,” Adam said in a recent behind-the-scenes video. “Stay open to all possibilities, keep an open mind and an open heart to life.” The sci-fi atmosphere is set to full throttle when the American Idol alum stage a revolt that becomes part horror flick and part disco inferno. Once he breaks free, him and his prison mates brave a new world but soon become trapped by cold metal gates and men in white suits. Luckily, a blue bubble thwarts all attempts from the enemy to take him down, and a dance riot (and rainbow of color) explodes. (Side note: We are absolutely lovin’ Adam’s neon red and yellow jackets.)

Adam looks so good, I wonder who is doing his makeup it is just to perfect. Happiness is just all over him, love seeing this must be Sauli and the album. All the Canadian interviews are wonderful to watch so intelligent none of the nonsense with the radio here.
Loving the video very sci-fi and unexpected for the song.

The clip sees Adam and lots of other kids being held in a dystopian prison / labor camp, keeping to tight schedules and being kept under control thanks to lots and lots of pharmaceuticals. Adam is the only one who even dares think about breaking free, and also the one who eventually succeeds at it. Because he's not selfish to escape on his own, he takes everyone else with him – and escape is found through dancing, of course. The video is beautifully structured and rendered, perfect for the strong message of the song – not that anyone expected any less of Adam. Enjoy it!

From Idol Chatter! How's this for "it ain't that deep!"  Adam Lambert's new video takes a futuristic tone, set in a dystopian world where there's not nearly enough color or dancing. Think of it as the 25th-century remake of Footloose.

Everything this man does makes me fall in love all over again with him, the way he thinks, the way he speaks, the way he smiles, the way he walks, farts, burps. (ha) ;D The man can do no wrong. I am always attracted to your posts irish but this is what I LOVE AND HATE about ATop. Love that Adam can do no wrong here, but hate that Adam can do no wrong here too. sometimes I need a friend that only LIKES Adam to tell me when I have gone over the love-is-blind deep end. Anyone?...didn't think so. |

Anyone?...didn't think so. Kay you must have missed some days of posting because not everybody here likes everything he does or sings. Yes indeed we are outcasts for the day, but tomorrow is always another day. Besides the forum rules state specifically we are not allowed to comment on how a person feels or thinks, however it happens quite frequently. One thing is for sure, no-one will ever tell you that you fallen over love-is-blind deep-end abyss, but will certainly tell you when you have a contrary opinion.
