Then maybe VH1 should stop saying vote for your favorite video! Thats where the assumption comes from (most favorite video). It's misleading! This is apples and oranges. The wrong info was that NCOE video on VH1 had to get to 20,000 plays before VH1 would add it to the Top 20 voting ballot. This was tweeted as "secret" info. It was so secret that VH1 clearly did not know that was how it was done. VH1 tells people to vote for their favorite video AFTER it is on the Top 20 video ballot. They use the votes and other factors to select the #1 video. "When Adam had BTIKM up 99.9% of the votes went to him yet the #1-10 received no votes. It's just likw SNOL and Open House Party the so called All Request Music program that doesn't play requests."We have no idea who many votes BTIKM got. I do know some Adam fans believed they got around the max votes per day rule but they probably did not. BTIKM was not likely to be #1 no matter how many votes it got because it was not a Top 20 radio song and had low sales. (We know VH1 uses votes + radio airplay + other factors, probably track sales). SNOL played NCOE last night because they got requests and the song fits their format. BTIKM is not a Saturday Night Party song and does not fit their playlist. They have been a great Adam supporter. I also expect OHP will play NCOE because it is a danceable track. There was not chance they were going to play BTIKM which is not a hot party song. They have also supported Adam. But let me reverse the question -- how many of the VH1 Top 20, SNOL and OHP Adam fans requesting Adam's music actually wlisten to the shows? I recall that SNOL put an fan on the air who requested IIHY and she was not listening to the show, and really did not even know what the show was. Thankfully, they did not ding Adam for this foolish fan. >> It is going to take a bit of time for RCA to build up NCOE. Give them the time they need and support Adam without spamming. Radio stations and VH1 work to get a real idea of what is popular, if a small group of fans tries to distort that, they will figure it out quickly and it will backfire on Adam. The new method VH1 has you can fairly well keep track of who is getting the most votes because they list recent votes. But yes, unless you are watching 24/7 no real way to know. SNOL spun NCOE last night? I am surprised.

LOL! That would leave a mark, look at those spikes! But, if a heavy blow landed to the face of the RUDE person, it would tattoo him with the word EDUR. However, if he looked at himself in the mirror, it would correctly show “RUDE.” Badass ring is badass. Adam rehearsing with Queen now? I’m almost more excited about the time he gets to spend with Dr. Brian May than I am about the actual Queen+Adam Lambert concerts. Almost. I would sell my soul, metaphorically speaking, to tag along with Dr. May for a week or two. Brian May is not only a legend, but, imo, one of the most fascinating men of our generation. I don’t know any other astrophysicists (check out his book “Bang!: The Complete History of the Universe” if you’re into that kind of thing. It’s quite readable and well done). Also, don’t know one other man who is such an expert in vintage photography (specifically stereography) that he’s been an invited guest lecturer by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. You can also check out his book on the subject: “A Village Lost and Found.” It’s fantastic. I don’t know of one other guy who’s ranked as #26 on Rolling Stone’s list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, and also holds two spots on Guitar World’s 50 Greatest Guitar Solos of All Time. I don’t know one other guy who understood Freddie Mercury so well that he could have introduced him to Mary Austin, the woman who would become his lifelong best friend, the one Freddie called his common law wife, and to whom he left the bulk of his estate. Brian May has seen more and accomplished more in his lifetime than I could ever imagine. I especially hope that Adam is invited to spend an evening with Brian in his backyard observatory, and that they have long talks about Life, The Universe, and Everything while gazing at the stars and planets. I hope that Brian and Adam really “click”, and that Adam is like a sponge, just soaking it all in, both personally and professionally. Oh, to be a fly on that wall! Thank you for this post...and I'd like to also mention Dr May and his wife's longtime work for/with animals. I would bet Eber and the Lambert sons are well aware of all the accomplishments of Brian May. The airplane/helicopter tweet from Adam to Eber at the EMA time was so dear...

It makes perfect sense to me to vote on VH1 AFTER the video is on the Top 20 countdown. 8-)

Yes, it makes sense to vote after it's on the countdown, I just wanted to know how it gets there and can we help. I guess not, so I'll wait!

The new method VH1 has you can fairly well keep track of who is getting the most votes because they list recent votes. But yes, unless you are watching 24/7 no real way to know. SNOL spun NCOE last night? I am surprised. They didn't, it was an online only spin. They have been giving it online only spins for a couple of weeks. They have yet to give it an on air spin at all, which makes sense to me, I personally don't see why they would for a song that is not charting on Top 40 yet. Once it starts charting in that format, and it's working it's way there, then I don't see why they wouldn't occasionally spin it as it does seem to fit their format. There are fans leading requesting drives on twitter and AO that don't understand adds and radio formats, don't follow chart positions, and can't tell online spins from on air ones. Unfortunately a lot of misinformation whizzes around due to this. If in doubt the fans running the @requestadam twitter seem to be very good about focusing requesting where it's most useful at this time and where Adam has indicated we should focus (and follow radio closely). ETA: sorry if this is a repeat I didn't read the thread. Q3 comment: I added a footnote to my post.

was in newcastle last night ,at my SIL,s birthday party, left at 12.oo ish with bruv,s next door neigbour to let out the (5 between us) dogs out,and he was saying ,it was a great playlist at the party ,lots of queen music and he,s a big fan, and did i know queen had this fantastic new vocalist!!!! of course, he said you wont have heard of him he,s unknown here. so i said whats he called ,trying to wipe the silly grin off my face! of course i had to fes up and say i had seen him live 4 times and was going to 2 of the london concerts , he was so jelus Aww, Love this, lily!!! LOL, if you get a chance to catch this week's Graham Norton with Cheryl Cole and Katy Perry, they're talking a lot about Newcastle – it's very funny. Now I'm confused about when we will get to see Adam's Graham Norton show. Last night on the East Coast we saw an episode with Charlize Theron and they talked about it being the Jubilee weekend. Katy Perry is one of next weeks guests so we seem to be a week behind and I don't think we will get to see Adam until June 30. :(
