On a positive note, I was just checking playlists and NCOE has moved from #44 to #37 on Q102's playlist! WOOT! That is good news - a bright spot that is sorely needed right now. I don't see how we can speculate that the song isn't resonating with listeners. How can it have made any impression at all if it's not heard? I would love to get a bunch of PDs in a room and ask them WHY they are not playing NCOE. Perhaps all the reasons discussed here would be on their list. Perhaps it would be a reason we haven't thought of. I'm not sure an appearance on Leno would do any good. Every musical act in the world seems to get a shot on that show & what does it mean? Most of them remain relatively obscure. I hope Adam is able to concentrate totally on the upcoming Queen concerts and isn't distracted by worry about US radio.

Okay that's not as bad as I had feared. I guess the Amazon sale helped stabilize it.....can we have a sale for this week too please?

Hey guys, Genuinely confused about where this should go, but Chris Molanphy (wrote the Let's get Adam #1 debut for Village Voice) has been covering BB and charts for years now. Interesting article (I thought) on Bieber, teen pop, and other things. Understand if you delete as not appropriate to the thread. blogs.villagevoice.com/music/2012/06/carly_rae_jepsen_justin_bieber_charts.phpAlso the BB article he ref's on Island Def Jam's drive to get the new Bieber single on radio. "Everyone (at radio) believed in the song and programmed this song to win," echoes Island Def Jam EVP of promotion Rick Sackheim. "When early callout looked shaky and confidence seemed to be questioned, we dug in and found a new positive story each day. The staff took each story and spread it throughout the country to rebuild our drive." www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry/record-labels/how-island-def-jam-saved-justin-bieber-s-1007218752.story

Down only 4%! That's not bad! Smallest % drop of the group - -except for Scottie.
Thank goodness for small celebrations. Keeping me sane. ;D

Happy to see just the 4% drop. Was hoping for something like that given the stabilization during the past 10 days on iTunes and Amazon, but wasn't sure if physical sales elsewhere were holding up well enough. Looks like they were.
Unfortunately it has now dropped to #52 on iTunes pop after holding around #30 for over a week. I'm sure part of that is due to the new albums that came out on Tuesday, but I don't think there were THAT many new releases, were there?
Has dropped to #95 on the Amazon top 100 music bestsellers as well. 106 days in the top 100.

Adam should release a song called Blow Me (like P!NK) and dedicate it to all the radio stations everywhere. They won't play it anyway so no harm!
